The Iranian army announced on Sunday that it had carried out drone attacks targeting security sites and police stations in Israel, asserting that the operations were in retaliation for attacks on Iranian citizens and security institutions, according to Cairo News.
In a statement, the Iranian army said that its forces had launched drone attacks on security sites and police stations in Israel since the beginning of the day.
It added that the attacks were "in revenge for Israel's targeting of our citizens and police stations."
The statement indicated that the strikes specifically targeted the Lahav 433 special police unit, in addition to the Gilad Defense satellite communications center inside Israel.
