President El-Sisi affirmed to President Mohamud that Egypt is committed to completing its troop deployment within the mission, reflecting its commitment to the African continent and its dedication to achieving security and stability throughout Somalia.

The President added: "We also discussed current regional developments and agreed to intensify joint coordination to address the challenges facing the Horn of Africa, thereby promoting security, stability, and prosperity." The President concluded his remarks by saying, "Allow me, Mr. President, to assure you that Egypt will always remain a sincere and supportive partner of Somalia, and will continue its efforts to enhance the security and stability of the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea.
