The national project for developing Egyptian rural villages, “Decent Life,” was officially announced today as the winner of the Dubai International Award for Best Practices in Sustainable Development for Urban Infrastructure Planning and Management.
The award was officially announced today on the sidelines of the World Government Summit held in Dubai from February 3-5, 2026, under the theme “Shaping the Future of Governments.” The project consultant, Dar Al-Handasah Egypt, accepted the award. Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly congratulated His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on this distinguished honor, recognizing him as the foremost supporter of this unprecedented development initiative. The President directed its planning and continues to oversee its implementation, confident in the Egyptian state's ability to achieve the initiative's objectives and the right of the Egyptian people to reap its benefits in improved services and a higher quality of life, thus reaffirming the citizen's place at the forefront of priorities.
