Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, received Dr. Ali Shaath, Head of the National Committee for Gaza Administration, on Monday, January 19, and congratulated him on assuming his position as head of the committee responsible for managing the Gaza Strip, wishing him success in his duties.

Ambassador Tamim Khallaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Minister Abdel-Aty expressed his full support for the head of the committee and all its members, given the responsibilities they bear during this critical period.

He emphasized the vital role of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza in managing the daily affairs of the Gaza Strip's residents and meeting their basic needs, paving the way for the Palestinian Authority to resume its full responsibilities in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2803.
