President El-Sisi Reviews Targets and Preparations for the Second Phase of the "Decent Life" Initiative in 20 Governorates

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reviewed the targets and preparations for the second phase of the "Decent Life" initiative, which includes projects in the sanitation, water, natural gas, communications, and fiber optic sectors, in addition to health units, medical centers, and ambulance units within the framework of the comprehensive health insurance system, as well as educational facilities. The second phase is scheduled to be implemented in 20 governorates and 204 local units, totaling approximately 14,500 projects, and work has already begun on a number of these projects in 245 villages.

This came during a meeting held today by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El-Din, Minister of Local Development Dr. Manal Awad, and Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Maya Morsi. Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities; Lieutenant General Mohamed Farid Hegazy, Advisor to the President for the Decent Life Initiative; Major General Khaled Ahmed Abdullah, Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority; Major General Walid Aref, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority; and Major General Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim, Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
