Minister of Religious Endowments Inaugurates First Training Course for Imams and Judges from the Philippines

Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Religious Endowments, inaugurated the first training course for imams and judges from the Republic of the Philippines, entitled: “Promoting the Values ​​of Tolerance and Coexistence Based on the Egyptian Experience,” at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in New Cairo.

It is worth noting that the training course is being held from January 10 to 20 at the headquarters of the International Academy of Religious Endowments, with the participation of 15 trainees, including imams, judges, and lawyers from the Republic of the Philippines. This training program is the first of its kind and aims to transfer Egyptian scientific and practical expertise in consolidating the values ​​of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, dismantling extremist ideology, and presenting the pioneering Egyptian experience in the field of religious outreach, scholarship, and renewal.

The Minister of Religious Endowments explained that the program targets a number of judges, scholars, and preachers, and includes extensive specialized training, in addition to organizing academic and professional visits to several Egyptian state institutions, in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Constitutional Court, and judicial bodies, as well as Al-Azhar and the Egyptian Dar al-Ifta, in order to maximize the practical benefit for the participants.
