This success comes as part of the Ministry's efforts to support farmers and open new markets, thereby bolstering the Egyptian agricultural export system and enhancing its competitiveness abroad.

This announcement follows an official report received by the Minister of Agriculture from Dr. Mohamed El-Mansy, Head of the Central Administration for Agricultural Quarantine. The report outlined the efforts of the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine Authority, in coordination with the Agricultural Services and Follow-up Sector, to open new markets for Egyptian agricultural exports. These efforts included negotiations to open the Uzbek market to Egyptian fresh strawberry exports.
