The Egyptian Red Crescent launched its 112th "Zad Al-Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza" convoy today, Thursday, carrying a number of trucks of urgent humanitarian aid destined for the Gaza Strip, as part of its ongoing efforts as a national mechanism for coordinating the entry of aid into Gaza.
On its 112th day, the "Zad Al-Ezza" convoy carried tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, including more than 118,000 food baskets, 755 tons of flour, more than 970 tons of medicines, medical and relief supplies, more than 160 tons of personal hygiene items, and approximately 1,580 tons of petroleum products.
In response to the severe weather conditions affecting the Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Red Crescent dispatched essential winter supplies to Gaza, including approximately 30,970 winter clothing items and 920 blankets, as part of Egypt's ongoing efforts to support its brothers and sisters in Gaza.
