The delegation included Fabio Cannavaro, former Italian national team player and 2006 FIFA World Player of the Year; Javier Ignacio Sepe Berdeevski, Director at FIFA headquarters in Zurich; Sebastian Ferrio, Director of the World Cup Tour; Alexandros Cavasselas, Vice President of Coca-Cola for Nigeria and North Africa; and Hanna Haddad, General Manager of Coca-Cola in Egypt and Sudan. Also present from the Egyptian side were Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and Eng. Hani Abu Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association. The official spokesperson explained that the FIFA delegation expressed its appreciation for the meeting with the President, praising Egypt's advanced sports infrastructure and extensive organizational experience in hosting regional and international tournaments and events. For his part, the President expressed his hope that the upcoming World Cup would be a great success, especially given its status as the largest in terms of participating teams. He also wished the Egyptian national football team success and expressed his hope that Egypt would host the FIFA World Cup in the future.
