President El-Sisi and the President of The Gambia Agree to Enhance Cooperation in Combating Terrorism

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and President Adama Barrow of The Gambia agreed to enhance cooperation in combating terrorism to contribute to maintaining regional security and stability.

This came during a phone call President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today from President Adama Barrow of The Gambia.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the call addressed the course of bilateral relations between Egypt and The Gambia and ways to strengthen them, especially in light of the celebration this year of the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The President emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination on various issues of common interest. The two presidents agreed to advance bilateral relations in all fields, particularly in the economic, developmental, and educational sectors.
