Bishop Dr. Sami Fawzi, Archbishop of the Anglican Church, prayed for Egypt during the Christmas Mass, saying: "We pray that God grants us peace and blessings."

Bishop Sami Fawzi added: "We will not forget to offer our prayers for the brotherly people of Sudan and for the Palestinian people, that the bloodshed may cease, peace may prevail, and that God may remove all the effects of war from them and protect their people and lands from all evil and the appearance of evil."

The Episcopal Church was adorned with Christmas trees and lights hours before the Christmas Mass, presided over by Dr. Sami Fawzy, Archbishop of the Anglican Diocese of Alexandria. The Mass was conducted in Arabic and English for the benefit of Egyptians and foreigners, as well as in Egyptian Sign Language.
