Media Production City's Net Profits Increase by 17% in Q3 2025
11/4/2025

The Board of Directors of Media Production City, chaired by Abdel Fattah El-Gebaly, approved the company's standalone and consolidated financial statements for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, covering the period from January 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025. These statements showed a significant improvement in financial results, with net profit rising to EGP 517 million, compared to EGP 444 million, representing a 17% increase during the same period last year. Earnings per share reached EGP 2.45, compared to EGP 2.11 for the same period of the previous year. This is a primary result of the expansion of the company's various activities, most notably the increase in studio revenues, as well as production and technical services, marketing of artistic productions, entertainment activities, the International Academy for Engineering and Media Sciences, and training, in addition to investments in subsidiaries. Total revenues for that period rose from 591 million Egyptian pounds to 665 million Egyptian pounds. Furthermore, the Center for the Revival of Audio-Visual Heritage expanded into Arab and Egyptian markets and successfully restored numerous feature and documentary films, generating significant returns that contributed to increased profits.

The company witnessed significant expansion in its foreign filming services, both within and outside the city. The Egyptian Film Commission at Media Production City oversaw the production of numerous projects for various nationalities (American, Indian, Norwegian, French, German, and Swiss) at various tourist and archaeological sites throughout Egypt. This contributed positively to increasing the company's revenues and maximizing its resources. Furthermore, the company's Media Services Center in Agouza expanded its services to provide all necessary facilities and resources to foreign media outlets operating in Egypt, enabling them to deliver their media messages in the best possible way, keeping pace with the rapid advancements in satellite broadcasting.

It is worth noting that Media Production City is an Egyptian joint-stock company operating under the public free zone system. Its shareholders include the National Media Authority, the National Investment Bank, the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, and the Egyptian Company for Investment Projects and Public Subscription.
