Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, announced that Egypt's first luxury high-speed train will be displayed upon its arrival in the country. He noted that this train represents the luxury version of the new high-speed train system that the state intends to operate as part of the modern transportation network in the new republic.
This came during a press conference announcing the Middle East and Africa Industry and Transport Exhibition and Conference, held under the theme "Together to Achieve Sustainable Development." The exhibition is organized by the Ministries of Transport and Industry under the patronage and honor of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the participation of more than 500 local and international companies.
The Minister concluded his remarks by emphasizing that the Egyptian state is racing against time to implement modern transportation projects that connect new cities, ports, and industrial zones with integrated transportation networks, supporting sustainable development goals and achieving Egypt's Vision 2030.
