Lieutenant General Abdel Meguid Sakr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with Guido Crosetto, Minister of Defense of the Italian Republic, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Egypt.

The meeting discussed several topics of mutual interest in light of areas of military cooperation and the transfer and exchange of expertise between the armed forces of both countries.

The meeting was attended by commanders of the main branches and a number of commanders of the Egyptian and Italian armed forces.
