General Abdul Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, met with Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Egypt. An official reception ceremony was held for the Egyptian Minister of Defense at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, where the national anthems of both countries were played.

The meeting discussed several topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance military cooperation in various fields.
