The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that Premier Li Keqiang will participate in the 17th BRICS Summit, scheduled to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 5 to 8, at the official invitation of the Brazilian side.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Mao Ning said, according to a Chinese government statement, that Li will pay an official visit to Egypt on July 9 and 10, at the invitation of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
