Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said his country will respond with full force if an attack occurs, according to the Cairo News Channel website.

In his first comment on the military clashes with Pakistan since the deadly conflict began last Wednesday, Modi added that "Islamabad will have to eliminate its terrorist infrastructure if it wants to survive," according to Reuters.

Modi said: "I will also tell the international community, if we talk to Pakistan, it will only be about terrorism. It will be about occupied Kashmir."

US President Donald Trump said last Saturday that India and Pakistan had agreed to a "complete and immediate ceasefire" after four days of mutual attacks on military installations.
