Al-Ahly's management has entered into negotiations with the trio: Algerian Zinedine Zidane, Belaid, a player for Belgian club Sint-Truiden, and Al-Ahly is putting the final touches on the deal. Hadi Riad, a player for Petrojet, and Amr El-Gazzar, a player for Ghazl El-Mahalla.

Al-Ahly's management will decide on signing two of the three players based on the recommendations of the Football Planning Committee, which sees the need to replace and renew the central defense position.
