Pope Francis's body is scheduled to be transported in a procession this Wednesday morning from Casa Santa Marta, his Vatican residence, to St. Peter's Basilica, allowing a final farewell to the late head of the Catholic Church.

Tens of thousands are expected to pay their respects at St. Peter's Basilica before the funeral and burial services scheduled for Saturday, which are expected to be attended by a number of world leaders.
