Forty-two people were killed in Yemen in a US airstrike on a market in the capital, Sana'a, as part of a series of airstrikes targeting several other locations, according to Cairo News.

According to media reports, the airstrikes targeted Houthi positions and warehouses, in addition to the popular market, including a nearby residential building in the Shu'ub neighborhood in the center of the capital.
