Tons of aid from the UAE, Jordan, Turkey, and several other countries have arrived at El Arish Airport in Egypt, in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip following a decision to open humanitarian corridors amid the continued closure of the Rafah crossing.

Egyptian security expert Brigadier General Khaled Okasha, Director General of the Egyptian Center for Thought and Strategic Studies, told Akhbar Al Aan that the Rafah crossing is closed on the Palestinian side after it was hit by an Israeli airstrike. He explained that Egypt has not closed the crossing and is awaiting an agreement to restore operations from both sides.
