Counselor Mohamed El-Homsany, spokesman for the Cabinet, revealed the details of the new social package, stressing that it is primarily based on supporting families with priority care and families of the Takaful and Karama program, in addition to basic services for citizens with limited income.
He said during a telephone interview on the "Extra News" channel, that part of the social packages will be implemented during the month of Ramadan, and the other part will be implemented at the beginning of the next fiscal year
He continued: "Currently, 10 million families are supported on ration cards, by paying 125 to the family in the event of one child, and paying 250 pounds in the event of two children, and the same amount is paid again during Eid al-Fitr."
