Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara arrived in Amman on Wednesday, where he will hold talks with Jordanian King Abdullah II, the Royal Court reported.
A statement issued by the Royal Court said that King Abdullah II received the Syrian president upon his arrival at the airport.
The King and al-Shara then headed directly to Raghadan Palace to hold talks, the first between them since al-Shara took power.
