Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, paid an official visit to the Russian Federation at the head of a parliamentary delegation, in response to the official invitation from the President of the Russian Federation Council.

During this visit, Al Yamahi and the accompanying delegation met with Mikhail Bogdanov Leonidovich, Special Representative of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Middle East and Africa, Valentina Matvienko, Speaker of the Russian Federation Council, Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodya, Speaker of the Russian State Duma, and Dr. Damir Muhiuddinov, Imam of the Moscow Grand Mosque, First Deputy Chairman of the Religious Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation and President of the Moscow Islamic Institute.
