On the sidelines of the meetings hosted by Riyadh regarding Syria, Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration, met today, Sunday, with "Hakan Fidan", Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
Minister Abdel Aati reviewed the Egyptian position regarding the Syrian crisis, which calls for preserving the unity of Syria, its national institutions, and its sovereignty over all its territories, noting the necessity of pushing forward a comprehensive political process that includes all components of the Syrian people, in line with Security Council Resolution 2254 and Syrian ownership.
The two ministers also discussed the latest developments related to the situation in Libya, the Gaza Strip, and the latest developments in the Sudanese crisis, in addition to the situation in the Horn of Africa region, Red Sea security, and ways to achieve security and stability in Somalia and preserve its unity.
