Sheikh Ayman Abdel-Ghani, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, said that eloquence is the highest characteristic and qualities that a human being possesses, and it grants him degrees of action, communication, and extended, developed, and unlimited effectiveness, as God Almighty chose the greatest language to address His servants, through the Holy Quran, as God Almighty said: {Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the clear Book. Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand.} [Yusuf: 1, 2], {And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an and diversified therein the warning that they might fear God or it might cause them to remember.} [Taha: 113], and other verses.
The head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector added, during his speech at Al-Azhar's celebration of the World Arabic Language Day, that Imam Ibn Kathir explained the choice of Arabic as the language of the Holy Quran: "This is because the Arabic language is the most eloquent, clearest, and most comprehensive of languages, and the most capable of conveying the meanings that exist in the souls; therefore, the most honorable of books was revealed in the most honorable of languages," and because Arabic is able to absorb the movement of the world, with all its developments, changes, and differences, and possesses the flexibility and ability to express it and think about it
