The Ministry of Social Solidarity lit up the ministry's building in the New Administrative Capital in pink, as part of raising awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer, as October is the global breast cancer awareness month.

Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, paid tribute to the Baheya Foundation for Early Detection and Treatment of Breast Cancer and the civil society organizations working in the field of cancer in Egypt, as society praises their efforts, whether in raising awareness of early detection methods or in actually examining patients or providing treatment and psychological support.
