The US State Department said that Secretary Anthony Blinken will travel today to Israel and several countries in the Middle East to discuss ending the war on Gaza and releasing detainees.

The US State Department explained that Blinken will discuss during his tour in the Middle East the need to reach a diplomatic solution between Israel and Hezbollah.

It added that Blinken will discuss post-war plans in Gaza and stress the need to provide more humanitarian assistance to Palestinian civilians.
