Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed his country's appreciation for Egypt's continuous efforts to achieve stability and security in the region, praising the Egyptian role in this regard on all tracks.

The Iranian Foreign Minister also conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Masoud Pezeshkian to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which the President appreciated, and they agreed on the importance of continuing the current path to explore prospects for joint development of relations between the two countries.

This came during President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's reception of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi today, Thursday, in the presence of Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs.

Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, stated that the meeting focused on reviewing the current developments in the region.
