Al-Azhar confirmed in a statement today, Monday, that the July 23 revolution was the birth of a new dawn in the history of Egypt, ending an era of successive occupation.

Al-Azhar called on all the people of Egypt to continue working with all diligence and perseverance to achieve progress and prosperity for our Egypt and its great people, calling on God Almighty to protect our Egypt from all harm and evil.
