A Hamas leader denied Israel's allegations about the assassination of Mohammed Deif, leader of Hamas' military wing, in an attack in Khan Yunis about three weeks ago, confirming that he is fine, according to Cairo News in an urgent news report.

A member of Hamas's political bureau said: "Confirming or denying the assassination of leaders of the Qassam Brigades is subject to the announcement of the leadership of the brigades or the leadership of the movement."
