History records that the first Arab summit will be held on the territory of the Kingdom of Bahrain next Thursday, amid extraordinary preparations to host the thirty-third summit headed by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, amid expectations of the attendance of more than 2,000 official delegations in addition to media delegations.

The main roads and landmarks of the Kingdom of Bahrain were decorated with flags of Arab countries and pictures of leaders, in a scene that reflects Arab unity and solidarity in its finest form, in celebration and welcome of the Kingdom of Bahrain hosting the work of this historic summit.

The Kingdom of Bahrain implemented an action plan with the support and follow-up of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, where the preparation committee was headed by Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of the Interior, which over the past days intensified the pace of preparation and organization, through Continuous meetings and field follow-up around the clock, to ensure the success of the Arab Summit, is an embodiment of Bahrain’s approach to supporting every effort aimed at Arab unity and solidarity, and its support for the efforts undertaken by the League of Arab States to strengthen the system of joint Arab action.
