Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, met with Ambassador Ivan Yukl, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Arab Republic of Egypt, to discuss ways to support and enhance cooperation and open investment opportunities between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Czech Republic.
These meetings come within the framework of Egypt's keenness to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in all fields, and to attract and encourage investment in Egypt, especially the participation of the private sector in various projects in the electricity sector.
Dr. Shaker praised the distinguished political relations between the two countries, welcoming cooperation with Czech companies, explaining that they are a reliable partner and have great experience in many projects, especially electricity projects.
During the meeting, ways of joint cooperation between the two sides were discussed in the field of electricity and new and renewable energy such as sun, wind and green hydrogen, as well as the localization of the manufacture of some relevant components, which contributes to the transfer of knowledge and increasing job opportunities.
