Today, Wednesday evening, the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which are hosted by the French capital until September 8, will open.
The opening ceremony will begin at 9 pm in front of the Egyptian Obelisk in the Place de la Concorde in the French capital, Paris, and the ceremony's activities include a parade of athletes from the Champs-Élysées with the participation of about 4,400 male and female players representing 184 countries.
The Paralympic Committee announced the selection of the duo Rehab Radwan, a player on the Egyptian Paralympic weightlifting team, and Ali El-Zeini, a player on the Egyptian Paralympic rowing team, to carry the Egyptian flag in the opening line.
The Egyptian mission is participating in the Paralympic Games with 54 male and female players representing 10 sports: "Paralympic weightlifting - Paralympic athletics - Sitting volleyball - Goalball - Paralympic swimming - Paralympic table tennis - Parataekwondo - Boccia - Paralympic rowing - Paracayak".
